The 5th Annual SCP Backpack Drive and Detroit House Music Picnic happens on Sat. July 24 and Sun. July 25th - Shed 19 - Belle Isle Park in Detroit and features an All Star DJ Line up of Metro Detroit’s Best DJ along with a few guest DJs from NYC and Chicago.

The 3rd Annual Detroit House Music Picnic happens this Saturday, August 9th on Belle Isle Park from 10am -10pm. It is also a Backpack drive to provide School Supplies and Backpacks for kids returning back to school that may be in need of School Supplies. The target goal for this year is 500 backpacks.
Several DJ’s are donating their time and talents including Eric Johnson, Rick Wilhite, Shake, Reggie Hotmixxx Harrell, Norm Talley, DJ Cent, Mark Flash, Bruce Bailey, and Aaron carl with special guest vocalist Veronique.

Strictly House Detroit is hosting a special afterparty that same evening at Forans Pub, 612 Woodward Ave, in Downtown Detroit from 9pm - 2am. Featured Guest DJ’s include VRod and DJ Big Rob from Lubricated Records in chicago and Detroit’s own Benji Hayes.

Join us for the Kick off Party for the 2nd Annual Detroit House Music Picnic @ Corktown Tavern, 1716 Michigan Ave (Near Old Tiger Stadium).
This is a fundraiser party for the Picnic and all funds will go to provide food and refreshments for the Picnic.
